Ride In offers surf lessons in Costa Rica for all levels, combining personalized instruction with authentic surf experiences in Jacó. Our private and semi-private lessons are guided by ISA-certified instructors, focused on skill progression, confidence in the water, and enjoying the true spirit of surfing.

Meet Our Team

Anthony (Yogi) Segura

Founder & head Coach

Yogi started surfing at 12 years old in Esterillos Oeste, Costa Rica. In 2006, he began surfing in competitions. He was part of the national surf team from 2007-2014 and is still actively competing in national and international contests. He works full-time as a surf instructor in Jaco and offers guided excursions around Costa Rica. Yogi is very invested in the surf journey of his students, and is continuously creating programs designed to improve their surf ability and skillset.

Andrés Moreno

Surf Coach and Administrative Manager

I’ve been surfing since I was 13, and the ocean has been a defining part of my life ever since. Certified in water rescue and first aid, I bring both safety and passion to every surf session. Alongside my love for the ocean, I also enjoy working with numbers and strategy, supporting the growth of Ride In Surf School and helping deliver well-organized, high-quality surf experiences in Jacó.

With more than 20 years of experience surfing in Costa Rica, I’ve learned that surfing is built on discipline, connection, and respect for the ocean. The sea has taught me patience and the importance of staying present in every session. My passion is sharing authentic surf experiences in Jacó with students of all levels, guiding them safely and confidently while helping them build a deep connection with the waves and nature.

We are located in Jaco, Costa Rica. A small beach town located on the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. It is known for its consistent surf and beautiful sandy beaches, making it a popular destination for surfers. The town is also known for its vibrant nightlife and many restaurants and bars.

From a surfing school perspective, Jaco is an ideal location to offer lessons and rentals. The consistent surf and wide range of breaks make it suitable for surfers of all skill levels. In addition, the town’s popularity as a tourist destination means that there is a high demand for surfing lessons and rentals.
